Fallen Angel: Peter David's horror/noir series set in the mysterious town of Bete Noir, and starring a young woman who's somewhere between savoir and sinner. I recommend looking for issues 15 and 16 if you decide to pick up Wednesday's 17. Art by David Lopez.
Astonishing X-Men: Joss Whedon (Creator of TV's Buffy, Angel, & Firefly) and John Cassaday present an all-new flagship title for Marvels mutants. Current cast is Cyclops, Emma Frost, Wolverine, Beast, Shadowcat, and Colossus.
Exiles: Mutants from alternate realities hop from world to world to set repair broken links in the chain of time. Think Quantum Leap meets Sliders with mutants. Cast is Blink, Mimic, Morph, Namora, Sasquatch, and Beak. By Tony Bedard and rotating artists.
Uncanny X-Men: The title that started it all, still going strong. Chris Claremont and a round robin art team present the adventures of Storm's team of mutant cops: Nightcrawler, Wolverine, Bishop, Marvel Girl, and Sage.
