As is being reported on the comics news sites,
Aparo drew one of the first superhero comics I ever read, a Batman somewhere in the early 420s. At the last couple of Big Apple Cons, I've picked up some of the trades that collect the early appearances of the Tim Drake Robin, which also showcase a lot of his work. He was damn good. I was kind of hoping DC would bring him back for a special project one day, but I guess the best we'll get now is a "Best Of" collection or something.
