I am an intelligent, capable person.
I have the power to make decisions that affect the course of my life, and the ability to deal with the ramifications of those decisions.
I can achieve my goals.
There are challenges before me, and I can meet them.
While flawed, I am a good person, and I deserve good things.
I have people who care about me, and are willing to help me when my load is too great to bear alone.
Other people have been in the same place I am now, and have succeeded.
The things I can change far outnumber the things I cannot.
As new factors present themselves in my life, I can adapt to deal with them.
I am a member of the human race, the most advanced and adaptable species this planet has ever seen, and I have a multitude of resources at my disposal.
What Al Franken as Stuart Smalley said in irony, I say with conviction and truth: I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and doggone it, people like me.

You're also modest. Hee!
Actually, it's always good to know your good qualities!
he he, Good one!
This is so corny.
Goodness, yes. But at the time, that's what I needed.
