First in a series of things that struck me over the last few days.
So, Free Comic Book Day is a week from Saturday. By amazing coincidence, this is the airdate of the Legion of Superheroes season finale. By another amazing coincidence, one of DC's offerings is Legion of Superheroes in the 31st Century #1, adapting the show's pilot episode.
All of you out there with even a glimmer of marketing acumen are no doubt stroking your chins and saying to yourselves, "Hm. An advertisement to air during the show telling kids to go to their local comic store and get their free LoSH comic would be a good idea."
I will bet you money that DC/TimeWarner will not do this.
