But I sort of started writing a story on the train Tuesday.
I was heading back from Barnes & Noble (where I read one cool, one okay, and one terrible comic, all for free), and pulled out the little square notebook I've had for several years now. After flipping through for a while, I found some blank pages and, eventually, started writing something. It started with just describing the first image that came into my head, and developed into what looks like the framing device for a mystery story.
Of course, now I have to come up with a mystery to put inside the frame...
