The movie version of 1408 comes out tomorrow. It's gotten pretty good advance reviews. It looks like they got around the problems I described by completely changing the nature of the room's haunting, which I guess would work. I wish them well, but I probably won't see it.
On the other hand, Ratatouille, the new Pixar movie, looks so good I might pencil in a showing next week. It'll probably be the highest grossing and best-reviewed film with an impossible-to-spell-correctly title this year.
