Credit Where It's Due

For all the (well-deserved) shit I handed out to Newsarama last month, I'm not above admitting when they get it right: This interview with Jeff Smith is pretty damn cool. Vaneta Rogers gets him talking about self-publishing (yes, you DO have to write a business plan), Bone's genesis in the Ohio State student newspaper, the economics of trade paperback collections, and how to build a fantasy epic. Definitely required reading for Smith fans, would-be cartoonists, and people who like stuff.

Still the same embarrassing typos (including saying Smith's wife, Vijaya Ayers, worked in Silicone Valley), but great content.

And RASL is out Wednesday. Interdimensional art thief; should be cool.
